Blockrise at the BCNL Trade Mission in London
Blockrise recently participated in a trade mission to London, a significant event that brought together key players from the crypto, financial, and regulatory sectors from the Netherlands and the United Kingdom. Organised by the Blockchain Coalition Netherlands (BCNL), a non-profit foundation dedicated to building a robust crypto community, the trade mission aimed to foster collaboration between both countries.
Engaging Conversations and Productive Sessions
Our journey began with engaging discussions at the Level39 venue at Canary Wharf. A highlight was our CEO, Jos Lazet, participating in a panel discussion on "What is preventing institutional adoption?" Joined by industry experts, the panel explored the challenges and opportunities for institutional investors in the crypto market.
The vision of Blockrise is focused on the regulatory and practical aspects of institutional crypto adoption. We emphasised the critical role of regulation and standards, detailing our daily efforts to build and enhance these frameworks. Additionally, we highlighted the knowledge gap as a significant barrier to adoption, stressing our commitment to simplifying Bitcoin and Ethereum for our clients.
Throughout the event, we connected with startup founders, corporate service providers, venture capitalists, and more. These interactions were further enriched during a networking event at the Dutch Embassy and an impactful visit to the Coinbase office.
Looking Ahead
The BCNL Trade Mission highlighted the critical role of institutional adoption in the crypto sector. The positive feedback and interest we received validated our approach and vision at Blockrise. As we move forward, the connections and insights gained will shape our future strategies and initiatives.
