Blockrise meets top international talent at Delft Career Days
Last week we attended the Delft Career Days, formerly known as De Delftse Bedrijvendagen, with some of their staff. Our representatives from various disciplines met numerous enthusiastic students from Delft University of Technology (TU Delft) there. The Delft Career Days enabled us to have valuable conversations with future talent from various technical disciplines.
International appreciation of TU Delft
TU Delft, internationally recognized as a leading technical university, provided us with the ideal setting to interact with local and international students. Several disciplines and studies were well represented among the attendees at the Orientation Days, such as Computer Sciences, Applied Physics, Management of Technology, and Applied Mathematics.
With more than 3,300 technical students and the participation of more than 160 companies in the Delft Career Days, TU Delft is known as a hub of technological innovation and progress.
Xiao Hang Nguy, People & Culture Manager at Blockrise, commented, "We spoke to many enthusiastic students who were genuinely interested in what we do as Blockrise. We also met many potential future interns and colleagues. The most important thing for us was to be highly visible to the workers of the future. Although we are not actively recruiting at the moment, we don't want to miss out on top talent and continue to strive for growth."
Future events
By participating in such events, we get to have valuable conversations with people we might otherwise never have met. The talented students from TU Delft bring interesting perspectives from their own engineering disciplines.
When asked if Blockrise will attend again next year, Xiao's response is, "If the opportunity arises, yes, please! We strongly believe in the potential of such events to make and maintain connections, and we are determined to continue our involvement."
